This new scoring system is based on the "above the line" and "below the line" systems inspired by the movie Divergent. This scoring system enables the contestants to demonstrate their diverse range of skills and abilities across multiple challenges, allowing them to be evaluated on a broader set of criteria.

Here are the relevant contest criteria:
  1. No judges: Unlike traditional beauty pageants, the Miss Multiverse international contest doesn't rely on the opinions of judges. Instead, contestants are evaluated based on their performance in various challenges and tasks.
  2. Challenges and tasks: Contestants are put through a series of challenges and tasks that test their physical, mental, emotional, and social skills. These challenges can range from obstacle courses to public speaking and leadership exercises.
  3. Teamwork: In addition to individual challenges, Miss Multiverse also includes team challenges. Contestants are divided into teams and work together to complete a task or achieve a common goal. The team that performs the best is awarded points that contribute to their overall score.
  4. Adventures: There are many amazing adventures, but each comes with a surprise challenge, scores will be determined based on clear tangible performance in the challenges and tasks.
